Opening PhotoDocs
There are a number of different ways to open PhotoDocs.Your choice may determine which images are retrieved and where they are stored. Choose one of the following ways of opening PhotoDocs:
- By connecting a camera: When you turn on a camera and connect it to your computer, a dialog box will appear asking you to choose a program to use. Select Laserfiche PhotoDocs. The images on the camera will automatically load into the Source Pane. You will need to connect PhotoDocs to a Laserfiche repository.
- From the Windows Start menu: Select Start, All Programs, Laserfiche, and Laserfiche PhotoDocs. You will need to connect PhotoDocs to a Laserfiche repository.
- From the desktop icon: Double-click the Laserfiche PhotoDocs desktop icon. You will need to connect PhotoDocs to a Laserfiche repository.
- From the Laserfiche Client in standard mode: In the Laserfiche Folder Browser, click the PhotoDocs button. PhotoDocs will be connected to the repository it was opened from.
- From the Laserfiche Client in reprocessing mode: In the Laserfiche Folder Browser, select one or more documents. Open the Tasks menu or right-click, and select Reprocess with PhotoDocs. The images from those documents will open in PhotoDocs for editing.
